Household waste

Our customers benefit from our years of experience in the collection, transportation, treatment and incineration of household waste. Not only do we operate as subcontractors, but we have also formed numerous successful public-private partnerships with municipalities.

Since June 2005 waste can no longer be disposed of unless it is organically stable. In order to achieve these legal requirements, waste has to be either incinerated or treated in a mechanical-biological stabilisation plant. Nehlsen has reacted quickly to comply with these requirements by planning, building and operating a number of mechanical-biological treatment plants and by signing long-term contracts with incinerators.
