Bulky refuse

Bulky refuse is waste that cannot be collected in the normal household bins because it is too large, with furniture and carpets being typical examples. The collection is organised by the municipality, either on a regular basis or by appointment.

Nehlsen has been collecting bulky refuse for several municipalities for many years and aims to separate the different fractions such as wood, plastic or metal. It is our aim to treat these materials in our waste treatment plants, where either valuable secondary raw materials for recycling or refuse derived fuel for thermal recycling are produced.
